On the 7th February, UCC invited local residents to a coffee morning in the Aula Max. This was a very nice event and was well attended by residents and by UCC staff and students, with representatives there from the main UCC student groups. The local gardai were also present. Music was provided by a student ensemble and the deputy president spoke about concrete efforts the college intends to make to integrate the college with the surrounding areas and connect students with residents in a positive way.
